What Does Labor Law Involve?
Labor law governs the legal relationship between employer and employee, from the conclusion of the employment contract through day-to-day employment to the termination of the relationship. This includes disputes related to ordinary dismissal and dismissal with immediate effect, questions concerning the calculation of wages, working hours, and leave, as well as the rules of liability from both the employer's and the employee's side. Beyond those covered by the Labor Code, separate rules apply to public employees, civil servants, and others in special legal relationships, so the nature of the case largely determines which statutory framework applies.
